Ⅰ．緒言

　仙骨前部に腫瘍の発生を見ることは，まれなこととされているが，最近，われわれは乳児において排尿障害と腹部膨隆をきたした仙骨前嚢胞の1例を経験したので，ここに報告するとともに若干の考察を加える。

A 2 months old girl with the chief complaint of dysuria and abdominal distention visited the pediatric department of Niigata University Hospital, who was normal at birth but 40 days later, lower abdominal distention and less wetting of diapers was noticed, and inspite of medical treatment the symptoms gradu-ally progressed. Catheterization resulted in diminishing the size of the abdominal distention and left a hen egg size mass at the suprapubic region. Stricture of the bladder neck was suspected by various examinations after admission and was referred to the urological department on May 25, 1966.
