　比較的稀である黄体囊胞によって引き起こされた仙骨神経叢麻痺の1例を経験したので報告する．症例は25歳の女性で，主訴は左下肢痛と歩行困難であった．左L5，S1領域に知覚鈍麻と下垂足を認め，MRIにより卵巣囊胞によるentrapment neuropathy（絞扼性神経障害）と診断した．治療は囊胞摘出術を行い，下肢痛は消失し，麻痺症状は改善した．

　We report the case of a female patient who presented with acute sciatica and foot drop. A 25-year-old woman was referred to the orthopedic unit for assessment of left sciatica and foot drop. The clinical diagnosis was thought to be sacro plexus palsy with corpus luteum cyst. Surgical excision of the cyst resulted in full recovery of the foot drop. Corpus luteum cyst rarely causes pressure on the lumbosacral plexus. This was a case of corpus luteum cyst as one of the hidden causes of lower limb weakness and foot drop. We recommend inclusion of the pelvic cavity examination when assessing sciatica and foot drop.
