　症例は56歳，男性。夜間頻尿の精査中に腹部超音波検査にて左腎腫瘍を指摘され当科を受診した。造影MRIにて左腎に7cm大の不均一に造影される腫瘍を認めた。腎細胞癌と診断し，経腹的根治的腎摘除術施行した。病理学的診断は横紋筋肉腫様組織像を伴った腎細胞癌であった。文献的には腎細胞癌と診断される症例の3.2～4.2％に横紋筋肉腫様組織像が認められ，早期に転移し予後不良であることが多いと報告されている。

A 56-year-old male with complaints of nocturia was referred to our hospital with the diagnosis of left renal tumor by the abdominal ultrasonography. Abdominal MRI scans indicated a tumor, with a major diameter of 7cm, in the left kidney, and contrast enhancement in some parts of the tumor. The patient was suspected of having renal cell carcinoma and transabdominal radical nephrectomy was performed. The histopathological examination revealed renal cell carcinoma, with rhabdoid features. Rhabdoid features detected 3.2～4.2％ among all renal cell carcinoma has been described as resulting in poor prognosis in the literatures.（Rinsho Hinyokika 62：247-250, 2008）
