脂腺ガンは皮膚ガンのなかではまれなものに属する。そのうち最も多くみられるのはマイボーム腺由来のものである1）。
本邦では1919年河本の報告以来，約80例のマイボーム腺ガンが報告されているが，その大部分は眼科領域からであり，皮膚科における報告例はきわめて少ない。
A 54-year-old woman with this tumor was reported. She found the tumor on the right lower eyelid 7 years ago, which were extripated two times as "a tumor of fat tissue".
At her first visit, there was a subcutaneous tumor, 13 x 25 cm in size, on the outer half of the right lower eyelid.
The diagnosis was given from the histological picture and the location of the tumor.
