　アレルギー性接触皮膚炎の範疇に属する中に特異な一病型として，単純接触によつても皮膚炎を生ずるが，日光照射が加わると一層その症状が増強するものがある。Epstein，S．（1957）^1）はph-enothiazine誘導体について以上の特異性（do-uble sensitivity）があることを証明し，これをcontact and photocontact dermatitisと命名した。最近非ステロイド性消炎剤として広く用いられているbenzydamine hydrochlorideによる日光皮膚炎が注目されつつあるが^2,3,4），著者もその一例を経験し，同皮膚炎がphenothiazine誘導体におけると同様のメカニズムで発症する日光皮膚炎であることを証明し得たので，ここに報告する。

Benzydamine hydrochloride is widely used as a non-steroidal antiinflammatory agent. A case of photodermatitis after per os ingestion of this drug were repored.

In this case patch and photopatch test with the drug was positive.

Exposure to sunlight after ingestion of the drug by mouth induced a marked edematous erythema on the exposed areas, and xenon arch lamp irradiation after the administration of the drug provoked a flare-up phenomenon.

A possible mechanism for this photosensitivity was discussed, especially in relationship to the chemical structure of this drug and phenothiazine derivatives.
