I．はじめに
下腿の炎症性皮下硬結を主徴とする諸疾患は，その典型的なものは診断容易であるが，特に近年は診断に迷う事も少なくない。時代の推移と共に幾分その臨床像に変化の見られる可能性も考えられるので，最近10年間に観察した症例を集計し，その臨床像を窺つて見た。
Analysis of clinical characteristics of nodular inflammatory lesions of the legs at the depart-ment of dermatology of Juntendo University for 10 years from 1958 to 1967, especially in comparison between the first and the second five years, was performed.
Age at the onset of erythema nodosum and erythema induratum widened its range, passing middle age and the number of such cases tended to increase.
The number of cases of erythema induratum showed a tendency to decrease in the second five years. The cases with ulcer had a tendency to decrease in number, as compared with previous cases.
Although there existed cases of nontuberculous erythema induratum, the author could not agree to accept the entity "nodular vasculitis".
Clinically, it was important to differentiate Behcet's disease from erythema nodosum.
