　はじめに

　唾液腺腫瘍は良性，悪性を含めた全腫瘍の3％以下，人口10万人に対し約1.5人の発生率を示す稀な腫瘍であり^1），組織学的にも多彩で診断，治療に困難を呈することが多い。今回，当科における過去30年間の唾液腺腫瘍の手術症例を対象とし，病理組織学的集計を中心に種々の検討を行ったので報告する。

117 cases (76 males and 41 females, ranged from 5 to 81 years old) of salivary gland tumors treated in our clinic in past 30 years from 1967 to 1996 were studied clinically and pathologically. These tumors were found in the major salivary glands in 108 patients (84 parotid glands, 21 submandibular glands, 3 sublingual glands) and in the minor salivary glands in 9 patients. They were composed of 92 benign tumors and 25 malignant tumors. The most common benign and malignant tumors were pleomorphic adenoma and adenoidcystic carcinoma, respective-ly. Tumors of the submandibular gland and minor salivary gland had high incidence of malignancy than those of the parotid gland.
