当科における口腔・中咽頭小唾液腺腫瘍の検討

Clinical analysis of the minor salivary gland tumors in the oral cavity and oropharynx

Ⅰ．はじめに

　小唾液腺とは頭頸部管腔臓器の粘膜に存在する粘液分泌腺のことであり，口腔・中咽頭に分布し，口唇腺，頰腺，口蓋腺，舌腺などがある。小唾液腺腫瘍は比較的少ないが，悪性腫瘍が多く^1）注意が必要である。今回，1986～2005年までの20年間に当科で治療を行った小唾液腺腫瘍新鮮例について臨床的に検討したので報告する。

　A clinical study was performed on 23 patients with minor salivary gland tumors in the oral cavity and oropharynx initially treated in our hospital from 1986 to 2005. Benign tumors were observed in 12 patients and malignant tumors in 11 patients. Histologic types of malignant tumors were adenoid cystic carcinoma（n＝6）, mucoepidermoid carcinoma（n＝3）, adenocarcinoma（n＝1）, carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma（n＝1）. There were 3 patients with stage, 3 with stage Ⅱ, 2 with stage Ⅲ, 2 with stage ⅣA, 1 with stage ⅣB. All patients underwent surgical therapy. Complete surgical resection of the tumor is mandatory for good prognosis of the minor salivary gland cancer.
