Ⅰ．はじめに

　副耳下腺は主耳下腺とは離れて存在する異所性唾液腺組織である。副耳下腺自体の存在は稀なものではないとされているが，そこから発生する腫瘍は比較的稀である^1～4）。今回われわれは，頰部に発生した粘表皮癌の1例を経験し，手術所見から副耳下腺由来が最も疑われたので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 34-year-old woman complained of right cheek mass,and diagnosed of pleomorphic adenoma by fine-needle aspiration cytology at another hospital.

　Pre-operative findings suggested that the tumor was arising from accessory parotid gland or minor salivary gland of buccal mucosa.

　The tumor was removed surgically through transparotid approach and the tumor had a duct-like tissue continuously from Stensen's duct. Pathologically,it was diagnosed of mucoepidermoid carcinoma,arising from accessory parotid gland. No recurrence was observed for 18 months postoperatively.
