Ⅰ．はじめに

　粘液腫は心臓や骨，皮膚，皮下，腱膜組織，泌尿生殖器の管，骨格筋などに好発する良性腫瘍である。なかでも頭頸部領域では，特に顎骨に発生することが多く，喉頭に発生する粘液腫は稀である^1）。今回われわれは，喉頭に発生した粘液腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

□Abstract

　Myxoma is a soft-tissue benign tumor,and a relatively uncommon entity in the head and neck. A 59-year-old man presented with a 4-month history of hoarseness. Fiberscopic examination of the larynx showed broad-based polypoid lesions arising from his vocal cord. The patient underwent complete resection of the masses via laryngomicrosurgery,and the histopathological diagnosis of the surgical specimen was myxoma. His postoperative course was uneventful,and he is currently free from disease 6 months after surgery. Clinical and pathological characteristics of myxoma were bibliographically reviewed.
