エキシマレーザーによる屈折矯正手術の術後成績と患者の満足度調査

Outcome of surgery and patients' satisfaction following photorefractive surgery with excimer laser

　過去14か月間にエキシマレーザーによる屈折矯正手術を受けた534例1,019眼の経過を追跡した。屈折矯正角膜切除術（PRK）が626眼に行われ，角膜内皮切削形成術（LASIK）が393眼に行われた。手術時の年齢は，両群とも平均34歳である。患者の満足度の調査はアンケートによった。PRK群では術後8〜14か月，LASIK群では術後1〜7か月である。矯正精度は，予想屈折値の±1.0以内のものがPRK群では91％以上，LASIK群では98％以上であった。アンケートに対する有効回答は308例（57.5％）で得られた。84％が術後視力に対してはほぼ予想通りと回答し，92％が手術結果について満足と回答した。屈折矯正手術に対する否定的な回答はなく，半数以上が「手術は有効で医療の進歩に感謝している」と回答した。
