　裂孔原性網膜剥離をきたした白子症の1例2眼を経験した。症例は20歳女性，眼白子症で，2眼とも網膜格子状変性巣に生じた萎縮性円孔が原因の扁平な網膜剥離であった。両眼とも通常の冷凍凝固および強膜内陥術にて復位が得られた。白子症の網膜剥離は網膜色素上皮の色素欠乏により裂孔の検出が困難であったり，凝固瘢痕が得られにくいなどの特徴を有しており，手術を施行するうえでこれらの点を十分に考慮する必要がある。

A 20-year-old female presented with impairedvisual field of recent onset in her left eye.Hergrandparents were cousins and her mother wasaffected by generalized albinism. She showed blueiris in both eyes and macular hypoplasia in the righteye. Funduscopy showed rhegmatogenous retinaldetachment in the left eye with atrophic holes in thetemporal superior periphery. She was treated bycryoretinopexy and scleral buckling procedure withsuccess. There was considerable difficulty in detect-ing some retinal holes because of lack of pigment inthe fundus. Particular care is needed when perform-ing retinal detachment surgery in albinotic eyes.
