　回盲部腫瘍と診断され，腫瘍摘出術が施行された後，虹彩および脈絡膜に転移性腫瘍と推定される腫瘤形成を認めた78歳，男性の1例を報告した。

　回盲部を原発巣とする転移性ぶどう膜腫瘍，とりわけ虹彩転移腫瘍は稀である。

　本症例は，腫瘍の皮膚転移と相前後して眼内腫瘍が見出されており，回盲部からの直接的な眼組織への転移としてではなく，全身転移の一環として血行性転移をきたしたものと考える。

　初診時，既に多発性の遠隔転移を認めており，本症例に対して積極的な保存療法は行えなかった。

A 78-year-old male presented with grayish tumor mass of the iris and the choroid in his left eye. He had been diagnosed as mucinous adenocarcinoma of the caecum and the liver during surgery 7 months before. He also manifested diagnosis of metastatic adenocarcinoma.

Metastasis of adenocarcinoma from the caecum to the iris and the choroid is infrequent. In the present case, metastasis to the uvea seemed to have occurred as manifestation of generalized dissemina-tion of carcinoma.
