Abstract 文献概要

　同名半盲で発症した多発性硬化症の症例を報告した．他の全身神経学的所見に乏しく診断が未確定の時期に行った核磁気共鳴画像（MRI）により多発性硬化症が疑われた．頭部CTは正常であった．全身神経学的には脊髄炎の既往があり，今回の同名半盲が寛解したため臨床的に多発性硬化症の診断基準を満足し，診断が確定した．

　同名半盲は多発性硬化症では少ない神経所見のため，その診断に核磁気共鳴画像が非常に有用であった．

A 28-year-old woman presented with left homonymous hemianopsia since 5 days before. She was free of other neurological symptoms except for a history of myelitis 2 years before. While comput-ed tomography of the brain showed normal find-ings, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed three discrete foci of hot spots suggestice of demyelinating lesions. Homonymous hemianopsia recovered spontaneously after 2 months. This fea-ture and the past history of myelitis satisfied diag-nostic criteria for clinically definite multiple sclero-sis. This case illustrates the possible usefulness in early diagnosis of multiple sclerosis
