緒　言

　朝顔症候群は1970年にKindler^1）が特異な形態を示す視神経乳頭の先天異常を独立した1疾患として報告したものである．近年散見される報告によると乳頭部第一次硝子体過形成遺残と朝顔症候群との関係，また網膜剥離を生ずる原因等に関心が持たれている。著者は典型的な朝顔症候群に網膜剥離を併発した1例，および乳頭上の白色塊より一条の索状物が硝子体中へ伸び，水晶体後面に付着している所見のみられた1例を経験し細隙灯顕微鏡写真ならびに螢光眼底撮影の立場から若干の検討を加えたので報告する。

I observed two cases of typical morning glory syndrome. In the first case, a 5-year-old girl, the condition was associated with secondary retinal detachment without retinal holes. The detachment occupied almost half of the fundus lower to the disc. The condition appeared to be akin to retinoschisis on account of slit-lamp findings of the fundus.

In the second case, a 13-year-old girl, a whitish strand connected the white mass on the disc with the posterior pole of the lens. The lens showed circumscribed posterior capsular cataract.
