I．緒言

　眼窩内に於ける単純な腺腫（Adenolna oribi—tale）の発生は甚だ稀である。吾が国では唯一例の報告があるのみであり，外国に於いても約20例の報告を算えるにすぎない。而してそれ等の記載を見ると殆んどが涙腺腫である。

　然し眼窩内に発生した混合腫瘍の中にたまたま涙腺組織の増殖混入を認めた報告は敢えて尠くない。

We experienced an oribital tumor which caused exophthalmus and lagophtalmus and then blindness.

The patient was a 5 years old male. Excentratio oribitae (The excision of this tumour) was carried out. This tumour extended up to the optic foramen from the upper-temporal part of the oribita.

By histological examination, we found that this tumor showed an uniform proliferation of normal structure of the lacrimal gland and had the normal emunctory in itsinterstitial tissue. From those facts, we may take the view that this tumour retained the physiolo-gical function of the lacrimal gland and might be found to swell on lacrimation.
