コンタクトレンズの収差に関する理論的並びに臨床的研究（その1）

第1章緒言（introduction）

　レンズには必ず収差がある。収差があればレンズ結像上の誤りを来たして鮮明な像を得ることが出来ず，レンズとしての機能が半減する。ことにコンタクトレンズのような，1枚の単レンズでその曲率半径が一般光学レンズに比して小さいものは当然レンズ結像上の誤り，つまり各種の収差を多くもつている事は容易に推察せられる。臨床的にもコンタクトレンズ装用時に物体が2つに見える，近見障害が時おり起る，点光源が散つて見える，或いはレンズが動くために物がぼけて見にくい，等の患者の訴えに接する事がある。コンタクトレンズの製作技術が進み，その規格も日本コンタクトレンズ学会規格が設けられて，レンズの精度が向上し，終日装用が常識となつた今日，また再びコンタクトレンズの光学について更に一段と掘り下げ，コンタクトレンズの持つ収差の問題について考えて見る必要があるのはこの為である。

　レンズの収差にはザイデルの5収差^1）を初め，軸上の色収差^11）等がある。ここではいわゆる軸上の球面収差を中心として，ザイデルの5収差につきそれぞれ研究を進めて見た。

The writer has calculated the spherical aberration of the contact lens by use of the ray tracing method, and has measured by using the lensmeter with zonular stoppers.

The result was as follows : the refractive power differs considerably between central and peripheral parts of the contact lens and the latter was stronger than that of the former.

As for the other aberrations the writer has further investigated through the Hirano-scope designed by the P. H. D. Hirano.
