  • Look Inside

In case aged eyes retain good distance vision, the following condition is most important for a contact lens to fulfill the needs of Presbyopics of such nature. The lens should be so designed as to cover the pupil only when the patient is to see the closer range so that he can use his own eyes when he is to see the distant range. Thus the writer judged that the contact lens for Presbyopia (for closer range) should take the shape of a rectangle, which is shown as Illustration I, and the good feature of the rectangular contact lens isthat "It never does wheel" when blinking or when the eyeball moves.
