I．緒言
副腎皮質ホルモンは抗生物質と共に今や医学各分野に汎く頻用されている薬剤と称して過言でない。
1949年HenchがCortisoneをリウマチ性疾患に用いて劇的な効果を得て以来，その卓抜した効果はあまねく研究者，臨床医学家の注目する所となり，より少い副作用，より強力な臨床的効果を示す誘導体を求め新製剤の発表が相次ぎ，まことに斯界の寵児とされるに至つた。即ちCortisoneからDehydrogenation, Methylation, Haloge-nation, Hydroxylation等の方法を用いてHy-drocortisone,6α-Methylprednisolone, Tria-mcinolone, Dexamethasone等の製剤が生み出され各々優秀な効果が報告されている。最近6位をHalogen化したものが合成されているが動物実験で可成り強い抗炎症作用を示すことが報告されている。
We applied ophthalmic ointment of 6α-Chloroprednisone acetate to 46 cases, (10 cases of blepharitis, 5 cases of conjunctivitis, 5 cases of episcleritis and Scleritis, 5 cases of ,kera-titis, 7 cases of iritis, and iridocyclitis, 2 cases of uveitis and 10 cases of irritations after various endophthalmic operations) and obtained the following favorable results.
1) In almost all of them, except 2 cases, the ointment was effective.
2) It was suggested, that the antiinflammatory actions were as strong as that of Pre-donine.
3) No side actions were seen.
