　野兎病は，我が国では，関東地方北部及び東北地方の山間部に発生する比較的稀な疾患であるが，その大部分は潰瘍淋巴腺型であつて，眼淋巴腺型は更に稀なものであり，その報告例も少ない。

　私共はこの度，耳下腺炎と誤られて治療開始の遅れて居た眼淋巴腺型野兎病の一例を経験したので，報告する。

A eight-year-old boy who had preyed on a hare 3 days previously developed high feverand headache associated with pain in the right eye and swelling of right eyelid and right cervical region with sudden onset.

He was refferred to this pediatrics in the 6th day after onset from private doctor whose diagnosis was epidemic parotitis.

Confirmatory diagnosis was made in the 7th day after onset from the conjunctival finding discovered by ophthalmologist, and since then he was treated with streptomycin and achromycin for 1 week with complete recovery.

Subcutantaneous and serum reaction showed both positive to tularemia.
