〔Ⅰ〕まえがき

　先に南が第1報において，昭和26〜28年の3箇年間にわたり青木の検診した，群馬県下小中学校69校の学童42055名を対象として，トラコーマ（以下トと略す）罹患率，校医の検診結果との比較，県下の分布状態，性別及び学年別統計，1箇年間における自然増加率（学外感染率）等を報告した。今回はその後3箇年，即ち昭和29〜31年に新たに検診した学校の罹患率を追加すると共に，前回報告した3箇年間の資料について，症状及び家族関係の調査成績を総括したので，第2報とし諸賢の参考に供したいと思う。

MINAMI reported previously in the first report the morbidity, the distribution of trachoma and the incidence-rate of new cases by a year during three years from 1951 to 1953 among 42,0.55 children of 69 primary and secondary schools in Gunma prefecture.

Successively,we inspected 11,765 children of 19 schools during three years from 1954 to 1956. The result of this was that morbidity of trachoma was 1.19 to 1.70% in primary schools (morbidity including trachoma dubium was 1.61 to 2.0%) and 0.12 to 3.32% in secondary schools (morbidity including trachoma was 1.49 to 3.47%).
