　Ⅰ．トラコーマ（Tr．）とは慢性伝染性結膜炎で徐々に発病した原因は不明と教科書に記載されてあり今日でも既の定義が正しいものとして多くの眼科医の支持を得ている様です。

　Ⅱ．所が私共Tr．二原諭主張者はTr．とは慢性（多くは伝染性）結膜炎でその症状，合併症，転帰等は古今の教科書に記載されている通りでそのTr．症状を起さしめた原因は単一ではないんだと主張しているのです。（Tr．症状の分析に就ての見解は他日詳述する享にし今回Tr．の症候と私がいうのは教科書に記載されている所の症候と考えていただきたいしそれに違いはないのですから）

I will express my opinion for the definition of trachoma different from the one which was accepted by the WHO international specialist committee on the 8th of September 1953. Tra-choma has almost always chronic or sometimes not chronic occurrence. If we designate P's inclusion body as a pathogenic body, we can not diagnose trachoma whenever we can find no P's inclusion body. Why did anyone name chlamydozoa trachomatis? The 4 Symptoms, such as granules, papillae, Scars and pannus, can be caused by other pathogenic substances. How are the courses of inoculation experiment of trachoma, fixed microorganisms in mouse brain e. t. c. ?
