緒言

　片眼性網膜色素変性症は，1865年Pedraglia^14）によつて報告されで以来，すでに内外に多くの報告がある。しかしこれらの中には，二次性のものが多く，一次性のものは極めて少ないように思われる。近年，電気生理学的立場から検討がなされ，厳密な意味での一次性片眼網膜色素変性症の存在そのものについても，疑問が提起された。

　著者らは最近，すべての点で，一次性片眼綱膜色素変性症に一致する症例に遭遇したが，既往歴から二次性網膜色素変性症と，考えざるをえなかつた1例を経験した。以下にその概要を報告し，若干の考察を加えてみたい。

A case of 17-year-old boy with an unilateral pigmentary degeneration of the retina of the right eye was presented. He had neither evi-dence of hereditary disorder nor consanguinity, but revealed a past history of mild concussion injury of the right eye 10 years before.

He had typical findings of unilateral pig-mentary dystrophy of the retina of the righteye clinically and electrophysiologically, inclu-ding the examinations of ERG, EOG, VER, fluorescein fundus photography and the other ophthalmological tests.
