緒言
近年眼科手術の進歩にともない白内障手術は，合併症の少ない安全な手術となりつつあるが，最近われわれは，白内障手術後に急激な視力障害を起こした4例と，整形外科手術後片眼の視力喪失を来した症例を経験したので，その臨床所見と発生機転について考察を行なつてみた。
The purpose of this report is to present a rare complication after cataract surgery in four patients. The condition is characterized by acute diffuse pigment epithelioretinopathy.
Three of four patients noticed dark sight on the first postoperative day and the other com-plained the detrioration of vision on the third day after the surgery. The fundus at the mo-ment when the patients complained the onset of visual disturbance appeared to be normal.
The charactaristic findings developed gra-dually thereafter and became evident on the 12-14th day after the surgery.
