眼窩Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcomaの1例—光顕的・電顕的観察

A Report of Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma of the Orbit.:Light and Electron Microscopic Observations

緒言

　小児の眼窩に原発する悪性腫瘍は比較的まれなものである。従来，眼窩原発の横紋筋肉腫は，Calhoun　＆　Reese （1942）^1）の報告にみられるようにごくまれなものとされていたが，近来欧米では比較的多くの症例^2）〜5）を集めた報告がみられるようになり，次第に注目されてきており，小児眼窩原発悪性腫瘍としては重要な位置をしめるにいたつた。しかしながら，わが国における眼窩原発横紋筋肉腫の報告は，著者の集計では現在まで約12例を数えるにすぎない。これは人種差によるものか，関心がうすいためかは明らかでない。

　このたび，小児の眼窩に原発した横紋筋肉腫（embryonal type）を経験したので，その臨床所見，ならびに光顕的・電顕的観察所見について報告する。

Rhabdomyosarcoma of the orbit is the most common primary malignant neoplasm in child-ren and young adults, but only 12 reports of cases are found in Japanese literature. This re-port is the first detailed study on electron mi-croscopic observation of orbital embryonal rhab-domyosarcoma in Japan.

This report was made of 6-year-old male with increasing swelling of the right lid since a few days. After admission in our clinic the tumor was partially removed and diagnosed as embryo-nal rhabdomyosarcoma. Then, the exentration of the orbit was done, followed by betatron ir-radiation.
