緒言
調節性が疑われる斜視にたいして，まず強力抗コリンエステラーゼ剤である縮瞳薬の点眼を行なつてみることは，今日ではもはやルーチンの方法となつている。当教室の斜視弱視室ではこれまで，調節性因子が関係していると思われる内斜視に，主として0.06％のPhospholine iodide （以下PI）を使用し，かなりの成績をあげてきたが，今回Ubretid （以下UBR）点眼液を使用する機会をえて，若干の患者に使用を試みたので，その結果を報告する。
A total of 31 subjects with esotropia were treated by topical instillation of 0.5% or 1% Ubretid, a long-acting cholinesterase inhibitor.
In cases of accommodative esotropia, 15(68%) out of 22 subjects showed improvements in the angle of squint following the therapy. The eyesbecame parallel in 12 subjects. In 6 cases of non-accommodative esotropia, on the other hand, no improvement resulted from the treatment.
In cases of accommodative esotropia, an im-provement in AC/A ratio also set in after the treatment.
