緒言

　Guillain-Barré症候群にみられる全外眼筋麻痺は稀で，通常成人にみられ，小児の例は極めて少ない。われわれはこのたび8歳女子の1症例を経験したので，ここに報告する。

A report is presented over an 8-year-female infant who developed Guillain-Barré syndrome associated with total ophthalmoplegia. The sy-ndrome was of brain-stem type and resulted in satisfactory recovery. A minimum degree of eye movement could still be elicited by Maddox and dark red test even after EMG findings of the extraocular muscles returned to the normal state.
