I．緒言

　一側性にうつ血乳頭をきたす疾患としては，1911年に，初めて報告されたFoster-Kennedy^1）症候群が有名であるが，そのほか，多くは副鼻腔，眼窩，眼球内病変に原因があると考えられている。われわれは，最近，1眼にうつ血乳頭を認めるが，他眼には異常所見なく，脳波，脳脊髄液検査，そのほか，諸種の脳神経学的，耳鼻科的検査によつても，その原因を追求し得なかつた3症例を経験したので，ここ報告する。

A report is presented over three unusual ca-ses of unilateral papilledema, in whom no ab-normal findings were elicited in the anterior segment or the optic media in the affected as well as in the unaffected eye. The etiology or pathogenesis remained unclarified through EEG studies, spinal tap,cerebroneurological or otola-ryngological examinations.

Following features characterised the three cases in question : 1. Presence of unilateral pa-pilledema. 2. Minimal disturbance as to subjec-tive signs or visual acuity.
