I．はじめに

　小児の眼窩に原発する悪性腫瘍は，さほど多いものではないが，その大部分は肉腫であり，かつ腫瘍の発育がはやく，悪性度がきわめて高いとされている。

　われわれは，最近，小児の眼窩に原発した悪性腫瘍を2例経験し，2例とも，発病後，腫瘍の発育は非常にはやく，予後は不良であった。病理組織検査によつて，1例は，胎児型横紋筋肉腫embryonal Rhabdomyosar—coma,1例は悪性血管内皮細胞腫malignant Heman—gioendotheliomaと診断された。

A clinico-pathologic report of two cases of primary malignant orbital tumor in infancy is described.

The first case was a four-year-old boy with rapid developing exophthalmos and milky-re-ddish, large firm tumor arising from the bulbarconjunctival portion of the right eye. Exentera-tion of the orbit and radiation therapy was done, however, he died from tumor metastasis to the lung, and the bone. Two grayish-white colored, encapsulated firm tumors were found at the retrobulbar portion of the orbit at sur-gery.
