I．緒言

　5年前，東京医科歯科大学付属病院中央手術部に設けられた眼科用手術室，ならびに眼科用無影灯については，当時報告^1）2）したが，その後の使用経験と改良点を述べ，あわせてこの手術室を使用して以来，内眼手術感染症を1例も経験していない点について報告する。

An operating room for ophthalmic surgery constructed 5 years ago in the hospital of Tokyo Medical and Dental University was furnished with special equipments as follows: an illumina-tion unit having several devices for ophthalmic surgery, color conditioning fitting for ophthal-mic surgery, and tangent-scale-lamps buried in the ceiling. From the five-year experience, such equipments seemed to be almost satisfactory except the light source for the inverted fundus examination hanging from the illumination unit.
