摘出水晶体および核の曲率半径について

The Curvature of the Extracted Human Lenses and Nuclei

I．緒言

　眼屈折要素についての計測は，従来いろいろ行なわれているが，水晶体に関して計測した報告は調節に伴う変形等のためか余りなく，最近は主にPhacometry^1）2）により計算されたものが散見される位である。特に水晶体核について計測を行つた報告^3）6）は，屈折率や前後径についてはみられるが，曲率半径に関してはみられず模型眼としての数値が引用される程度である。私は眼の老化に伴う屈折変化について関心をもち，前回は老人の角膜曲率半径について調べ報告した^4）が，今回，老人水晶体，特に核の形態について調べたいと思い，老人性白内障の手術により摘出した水晶体と核を用いて，赤道径，前後径，前面曲率半径，後面曲率半径について計測した結果，若干の知見を得たのでここに報告する。

The author measured the equatorial diame-ter, the thickness and the radii of curvature of the human lenses and nuclei extracted be-cause of senile cataract.

The measurement was done by freezing me-thod in forty lenses and those nuclei, picked out of 500 materials, and in forty nuclei, sele-cted from 1500 ones.

The results were as follows :

1. The radii of anterior curvature of the extracted lenses were larger than those of the lenses in its accommodated state menthioned in the literature.
