I．緒言

　眼筋麻痺は種々の疾患の際に出現する症状で，その原因を究明することは必ずしも容易なことではないが，われわれは出来るだけその原疾患の把握に努めることが大切である。著者はここに眼筋麻痺の種々相と題して頭蓋内内頸動脈瘤，後篩骨洞ピオケーレ，眼窩炎性偽腫瘍および眼部帯状疱疹について述べ，眼筋麻痺の原因の一端を報告する。

Cases of ophthalmoplegia from various un-derlying disorders are described.

Case 1. Oculomotor palsy and optic neuritis was caused by intracranial aneurysm of the internal carotid artery, Favorable results were obtained by ligation of the common carotid artery.

Case 2. Pyocele in the posterior ethmoidal cavity resulted in the syndrome of the apex of the orbit. The syndrome disappeared after successful radical operation for the pyocele.

Case 3. The syndrome of the apex of the orbit was caused by inflammatory pseudotu-mor of the orbit and was successfully treated by systemic Prednisolone and Chloramphenicol therapy.
