正常人涙液分泌量について（1） Schirmer試験第一法の飯沼・田中変法による

On the Quantity of lacrimal secretion in normal subjects (1) Investigation by Iinuma-Tanaka's modification of Schirmer test I

I．緒言

　涙の分泌は結膜・角膜或いは虹彩に対する知覚刺激，視神経に対する光刺激，眼瞼の運動又は情緒的亢奮等によつて促進される為，一定の分泌量と云うものはありえないかも知れない。しかるに我々は臨床上，患者の訴えが或いは角結膜の病的状態が涙液分泌量の過不足に関係していないかどうかを知りたい場合に屡々遭遇する。分泌刺激を加えない所謂最低分泌量測定方法としては，Schi—rmer第一法が最も広く行われているが何人かの追試発表に見られる如く，その成績は甚だ不安定で，その不確実さのため，正常人涙液量の生理的基準を定める事が躊躇されている。

　著者は麻酔方法に改良を加え臨床的応用の容易なしかも，今迄に発表されたどの方法による成績よりも変動の少い低い平均値を示す静状時に近い生理的分泌量と思われるものの測定方法を案出したので発表し，本法による測定値に，いささか統計的検討を加えてみたい。

In the preliminary report of Iinuma and the author, they reported a modification of Schirmer test I featured by the following :

1 ) Local anesthesia is performed with a thin piece of nylon paper moisted with Onoc-ain applied on the conjunctival surface near the inferior lacrimal point where a test filter-paper is put on.

2 ) The difference in the weight of the test paper before and after the test measured with a torsion balance.

In this paper the quantity of lacrimal sec-retion in 161 normal subfects by this method was investigated.
