要約　目的：急性涙囊炎を契機として先天性涙囊ヘルニアが自然寛解した3症例の報告。症例：それぞれ生後4日，10日，24日の女児が片側性の涙囊部腫脹で受診した。いずれも妊娠と分娩の経過に問題はなかった。諸検査の結果，先天性涙囊ヘルニアと診断した。それぞれ5日後，9日後，18日後に涙囊部の発赤腫脹などの急性涙囊炎の症状が出現し，それに伴って先天性涙囊ヘルニアが自然寛解した。以後，再発はない。結論：急性涙囊炎が発症した結果として囊腫の内圧が上昇し，鼻腔に破囊して自然寛解したと推定される。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report 3 neonatal cases of congenital dacryocystocele that spontaneously resolved following episodes of acute dacryocystitis. Cases：Three infants,aged 4,10 and 24 days respectively,presented with unilateral swelling of the lacrimal sac area. There were no problems about pregnancy or birth. Detailed clinical studies led to the diagnosis of congenital dacryocystocele. Symptoms of acute dacryocystitis became manifest 5,9 and 18 days later respectively. Congenital dacryocystocele resolved spontaneously with no recurrences. Conclusion：Acute dacryocystitis may have resulted in elevation of pressure within the lacrimal sac,in rupture into the nasal cavity and in eventual resolution in these cases.
