Coats病に対するベバシズマブ硝子体内注射を併用した網膜光凝固

Treatment of Coats disease by laser photocoagulation combined with intravitreal bevacizumab

要約　目的：Coats病に対して網膜光凝固とベバシズマブ硝子体注射を併用した3症例の報告。症例：症例は19歳女性，20歳男性，37歳男性で，いずれも片眼性でstage 2AのCoats病である。罹患眼の矯正視力はそれぞれ1.5，0.15，1.5であった。視力不良例には黄斑浮腫があった。全例にベバシズマブ硝子体注射後，網膜異常血管に低出力の光凝固を行った。黄斑浮腫と硬性白斑は消失し，全例で1.0以上の矯正視力が得られた。治療後6～28か月後の現在まで再発はない。結論：ベバシズマブ硝子体注射と網膜光凝固の併用療法は，早期のCoats病に対し有効であった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report three cases of Coats disease treated by laser photocoagulation and intravitreal bevacizumab. Cases：The present series comprised 19-year-old female,20-year-old male,and 37-year-old male. All had stage 2A Coats disease unilaterally. Corrected visual acuity of involved eye was 1.5,0.15 and 1.5 respectively. Macular edema was present in the case with impaired visual acuity. Each case received intravitreal injection of bevacizumab and low-output photocoagulation applied to the abnormal fundus area. All the cases responded to treatment by resolution of macular edema and hard exudates. Final visual acuity was 1.0 or over in all the cases. There has been no recurrence during follow-up for 6 to 28 months. Conclusion：Combined treatment by laser photocoagulation and intravitreal bevacizumab was effective for Coats disease in its early stage.
