Scarpa三角（femoral triangle）の境界は？（その1）

　Scarpa三角とは，femoral triangle大腿三角とも呼ばれ，鼠径靱帯を底辺とする逆三角形状の大腿部前面のくぼみである．日常診療では，鼠径ヘルニア，動脈穿刺，股関節穿刺などとの関連で，実用的な冠名用語である．しかしその境界の記載が解剖学書でまちまちであることに昨年気が付いた．整形外科学の教科書執筆に携わっている筆者にとっては看過できないことであり，早速調べてみた．

　日常診療でよく活用される“Grant's Atlas of Anatomy”の第7版（1978），第8版（1983）を見てみると，“Scarpa三角の外側辺は縫工筋の内側縁であり，内側辺は長内転筋の外側縁である（図1）”と定義されている．ただし注釈があり“（一部の学者は内側辺を長内転筋の内側縁としている）”と書かれている．

　The boundaries of the triangle：the inguinal ligament, which curves gently from anterior superior spine to pubic tubercle, being the base；the medial border of Sartorius being the lateral side；the lateral border of Adductor Longus being the medial side；and the point where the two converging sides meet distally being the apex.（Some authors regard the medial border of Adductor Longus as the medial side of the triangle.）
