　三次元CTアンギオグラフィー（3D-CTA）は，造影ヘリカルスキャンで得られる血管のボリュームデータから，コンピュータグラフィックス（CG）の技術を用いて血管の三次元像を構築する非侵襲的血管形態検査法である。本稿では3D-CTAの基礎について概説し，ついでその中枢神経系における臨床応用を紹介した。3D-CTAは既に脳動脈瘤では必須の検査となりつつある。マルチスライスCTの導入は，その可能性を大きく発展させるものである。

Three-dimensional CT angiography (3D-CTA) has become a modality of choice for the evaluation of the lesions and diseases of central nervous system. Further en-hancement of diagnostic capability has been achieved by the development and introduction of multislice CT, which enabled us to obtain true isotrophic volumetric data. Most proven application of 3D-CTA in CNS is the diagnosis and management of cerebral aneurysms. It can be used as an alternative to conventional angiography in most of cases.
