　著者らは菌塊塞栓によって脳梗塞を来し死亡した覚醒剤中毒症例（37歳，男性）を報告する。来院時昏睡状態，体温43.1℃，血圧58／35mmHgで，ショック状態から離脱できず，同日死亡した。司法解剖の結果，グラム陽性桿菌の菌塊が塞栓となって発症した脳梗塞が認められた。覚醒剤などの薬物常用者では，免疫機能不全症の可能性があり，また非衛生的な静脈注射となることから，このような発病も考慮しておく必要がある。覚醒剤中毒症例の合併症として稀な症例と考えられた。

The number of stimulant-drug addicts has recent-ly been on the rise again, and they are being increas-ingly encountered in the emergency room. There are also frequent reports of cerebrovascular disorders complicating drug toxicity. These cerebrovascular disorders have included subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial hematoma, and a few cases of cerebral infarction. Here, we report the case of a 37-year-old male with drug toxicity, consciousness disorder, and hyperthermia.
