Ｉ．緒言
頭部外傷によってspasmを来たした脳動脈がその緩解期にspasmの消失だけにとどまらず，dilatationとみなすべき所見を呈することがある。この現象について1症例をあげて検討する。
A 53-year-old man was admitted to the Shizuoka Rosai Hospital immediately after head injury. A right cerebral angiogram done on the 3 rd hospital day showed diffuse vasospasm of the cerebral arteries.
A second angiography was done on the 10 th hospital day. It revealed definitely diffuse vaso-dilatation of the cerebral arteries with associated increased angiographic circulation time in place of the vasospasm. These findings appeared to show a post-spastic vasodilatation in traumatized brain.
Some points of the pathophysiology of vaso-dilatation in the cerebral artery demonstrated in angiography were discussed.
