境界性人格障害のロールシャッハ・テスト研究

A Review of Rorschach Studies on Borderline Personality Disorder

はじめに

　境界性人格障害は自己像，対人関係，気分の不安定さを示し，医療，相談機関において多くの専門家が取り組んでいる課題である。Hochら^17），Widiger^34），Murray^27）はロールシャッハ・テストの有用性を否定したが，これまで多くの研究者がロールシャッハ・テストを用いて境界例と呼ばれる人々の心理学的な特徴を描出しようとした。日本でも多くの研究が行われており，学会などでの境界例の疑われる症例報告まで含めると，その量は膨大になると思われる。

　しかしながら，これまでの研究では，対象者は境界例の様々な概念に基づいて選ばれ，ロールシャッハ・テストの施行・解析方法も異なっており，結果をそのまま相互に比較することはできなかった（表1）。境界例のロールシャッハ・テスト研究はこれまでもまとめられたことがある^4,5,21）が，その後DSMにおいて境界性人格障害という1つの共通した臨床概念が形作られ，さらに研究が進んでいる。そこで本稿ではこれまでの研究に加えて，近年の境界性人格障害のロールシャッハ・テスト研究を概説し，今後求められる研究を検討した。

　The author reviewed the progress of Rorschach studies of borderline personality disorder (BPD). Early studies have compared BPD with schizophrenia and have tried to differentiate BPD from other mental disorders. Recent studies explore subtypes of BPD and its differences from other personality disorders. In accordance with these changes of approach in BPD studies, researchers used the Rorschach test as a method to describe the psychological structure of BPD. Further Rorschach studies require (1) verification of the findings obtained from previous comparative studies and (2) validation of judgement by clinicians using indices based on daily use.
