医療観察法指定入院医療機関データベースの活用と課題—多職種スタッフに対するグループインタビュー調査から

Utilization and Challenges of the Database of Inpatients under Medical Treatment and Supervision Act:Focus Group Discussion with multi-disciplinary staff

抄録　医療観察法データベースの活用の現状を明らかにし，解決策を検討するために，医療観察法多職種スタッフを対象としたフォーカス・グループ・ディスカッションを用いた研究を行った。その結果，データベース活用への積極的姿勢の要因と消極的姿勢の要因が抽出された。前者には「治療標準化の共有の必要性」と「外部との現状共有の必要性」があり，後者には，「情報リテラシーの強化」「運用や設計の見直しの必要性」が含まれた。

　医療観察法データベースは，歴史的背景を考慮した重点的かつ網羅的に把握しなければならない項目で構成されているが，臨床のニーズに応える項目にも対応し，医療観察法医療の水準の向上に寄与していく必要があると思われた。

　In this study, a focus group discussion was conducted with multidisciplinary staff at Medical Treatment and Supervision Act(MTSA)institutions to clarify the usage status of the MTSA database and to investigate solutions. As a result, factors contributing to positive and negative attitudes toward the use of the database were identified. The former included “the necessity of sharing treatment standardization” and “the necessity of sharing current situations with parties outside the MTSA” while the latter included “strengthening information literacy” and “the necessity of reviewing operation and design of the database.”

　The MTSA database consists of items that must be collected selectively and comprehensively in consideration of the historical background, but it is also necessary to handle items that respond to clinical needs and that contribute to improvements in MTSA medical care standards.
