　修正大血管転位症は一般的に生命予後不良であり，20歳を越えて生存する例は稀である．本疾患の90％程度には心室中隔欠損症や肺動脈狭窄症などの心奇形が合併することが知られており，これらは本疾患の生命予後規定因子の一つであると考えられている．今回，われわれは本症例の成人例3例を経験した．2例は他の合併する心奇形を認めなかったが，1例は心室中隔欠損症と肺動脈狭窄症を合併していた．前者のうち1例は心不全のため70歳で死亡し，他の1例は現在26歳で運動耐容能良好，日常生活には問題がなく良好な生命予後が期待される．後者は39歳まで生存し，心不全で死亡したが前者の1例と比べると若くして死亡した．この3症例においても，本疾患では他の心奇形の有無が生命予後を大きく左右しているものと考えられた．また，他の心奇形を合併しない長期生存例ではadaptationfailureのために心不全を生じ得ると考えられた．

The prognosis for corrected transposition of the great arteries is poor and adult cases are rare. In this congen-ital heart disease, about 90% of cases have other car-diac deformities, for example ventricular septal defect or pulmonary stenosis which regulates the patient's life.

We encountered 3 adult cases of corrected transposi-tion of the great arteries, 2 cases without other deform-ities. and the remaining case had ventricular septa] defect and pulmonary stenosis. One case without other deformities died of congestive heart failure at 70 years of age, while the other one who is 26 years old is expected to have a good course since her exercise tolerance is good. The remaining case with additional cardiac deformities died of congestive heart failure at 39 years of age.

In corrected transposition of great arteries. existence of other cardiac deformities decreases the patient's life span. Even patients without other deformities will develop congestive heart failure if there is adaptation failure.
