検診で見つかり経過観察を行った早期胆囊癌の1例

Early Gallbladder Cancer Which was Found by Ultrasonic Mass Screening for a Single Occupational Group, Report of a Case

要旨　職域の腹部超音波検診で，長径10.4mmの胆囊隆起性病変を認めた．約3か月後に経過観察を行ったところ，腫瘍の長径は16.3mmに増大し，更に手術時には17.2mmとなっていたが，早期癌にとどまった胆囊癌の1例を報告した．腹部超音波所見と病理組織学的所見より，腫瘍の発育速度を検討したところ，doubling time（DT）は59.9～143.9日であった．

　We have been examining 1,799 subjects aged over 40 by echography from a single occupational group since 1983. Two cases of cancer (one was gallbladder cancer, and the other was renal cell cancer) were found. They were detected at the operable stage. Gallbladder cancer was revealed as a small polypoid type by echography and x-ray, and cancer invasion was limited to mucosa.

　During an interval of 96 days the polypoid type tumor increased from 10.4 mm to 16.3 mm in size according to measurement by echography. Doubling time (TD) of this gallbladder cancer was indicated to be 59.9 days.
