画像強調処理

要旨　われわれは，より見やすく，より見落としの少ない診断画像を得ることを目的に，HSI色空間における形態強調処理とHSV色空間における色調強調処理を試みている．各々の処理法には一長一短があり，われわれの臨床経験ではHSI色空間における形態強調処理ではより詳細な観察が可能な診断画像が得られ，HSV色空間における色調強調処理ではより見落としの少ない診断画像が得られると考えている．

　For the purpose of obtaining images which enables a reader to interpret easily and to minimize the possibility of overlooking lesions, we developed a structural enhancement processing technique in the HSI color space and color tone enhancement processing technique in the HSV color space. Each processing technique has its own advantages and disadvantages. The band enhancement processing in the HSI color space is regarded as providing easily readable diagnostic images, and the color tone enhancement by histogram flattening processing in the HSV color space is thought to minimize the possibility of overlooking lesions. These two image processing techniques can complement each other. By manipulating two methods of image processing, we would expect remarkable improvement in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer by identifying subtle structural and color tone differences.
