要旨　われわれは，より見やすく，より見落としの少ない診断画像を得ることを目的に，HSI色空間画像における形態強調処理とHSV色空間画像における色調強調処理を試みている．形態強調処理では，より詳細な観察の可能な診断画像が得られ，色調強調処理では，より見落としの少ない診断画像が得られると考えている．しかし，現在試みている画像処理法では癌の診断能が飛躍的に向上するとは言えない．高解像能を有する電子内視鏡が開発された現在，改めて，より効果的な処理法の研究が期待される．

　For the purpose obtaining an image easy for readers to interpret and which will minimize the possibility of overlooking lesions, we have developed a structual enhancement processing technique in the HSI color space and color tone enhancement processing technique in the HSV color space. The structual enhancement processing produces an easily readable diagnostic image, and the color tone enhancement processing is thought to minimize the possibility of overlooking lesions. However, at this stage of the development of these techniques, we would not expect remarkable improvement in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer. We hope that a more effective processing technique will be able to be developed in the future.
