はじめに

　メニエール病（Ménière's disease）の睡眠状態を検討した論文は稀である。最近，メニエール病での睡眠障害の出現率は，一般成人より高いという報告^1,2）がみられる。今回われわれは，276例のメニエール病の問診用紙から，睡眠障害の状況を分析したので，その結果につき文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　We analyzed sleep disorder in 276 patients with Ménière's disease using questionnaires. The results obtained were as follows. ①Sleep disorder was observed in 175 patients（44 men, 131 women）. The overall incidence was 63.4％（56.4％ in men, and 66.2％ in women）. ②The most common type of sleep disorder was awakening, followed by a lack of deep sleep, difficulty falling sleep, and taking hypnotics. In this study on sleep disorder in those with Ménière's disease, we reported the incidence, symptoms, administration of hypnotics, and the relationship with equilibrium function, along with a literature review.
