白線ヘルニアの1例

A Case of Linea Alba Hernia

はじめに

　白線ヘルニアとは，腹壁正中に存在する白線の間隙から生じる腹壁ヘルニアの一種で，腸管などのヘルニア内容が嵌頓すれば致死的な状態に陥る疾患である。われわれは，中年女性に生じた白線ヘルニアを経験し，外科的治療を行った。白線ヘルニアの外科的治療法の選択と，われわれが本症例で施行した治療について，若干の文献的考察を交えて報告する。

　A 60-year-old woman visited our hospital due to abdominal pain from bumping a frying pan handle. Upon examination, we found a mass in the same area, and excisional surgery was performed immediately. The diagnosis was linea alba hernia, which arose in the abdominal wall from a gap in the tendinous fibrous tissue of the white line. Linea alba hernia should be considered in cases of abdominal masses since it is commonly encountered in plastic surgery cases. We report on our patientʼs surgery, which involved a simple three-layer suture, and the subsequent treatment method, and include a discussion of relevant literature.
