小児側脳室内髄膜腫の1例

A case of pediatric intraventricular meningioma

小児の髄膜腫はまれな疾患であり，小児中枢神経腫瘍の2.4％を占める^1）。原発性脳室内髄膜腫はさらにまれで，髄膜腫全体の0.5～5％と報告されている^2）。今回我々は小児に発生した原発性脳室内髄膜腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察とともに報告する。

We report a case of intraventricular meningioma in a 6-year-old boy. CT and MR images showed a large lobulated lesson in the right lateral ventricle with cystic part and calcifications. The tumor was enhanced homogenously. After gross total resection, the mass was diagnosed as transitional meningioma. Although, extremely rare in children, intraventricular meningioma should be included in differential diagnosis of intraventricular tumors with cyst and calcifications.
