髄膜腫の肺転移の1例

A case of pulmonary metastasis from intracranial meningioma

髄膜腫は原発性頭蓋内腫瘍の中で最もよく遭遇する疾患であり，大部分が良性である。しかし，まれではあるが他臓器に遠隔転移を生じる症例がある。今回我々は髄膜腫の肺転移の症例を経験したため若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Meningiomas are the most common primary intracranial neoplasms and are mostly benign. However, they infrequently metastasize to extracranial organs such as lungs.

Regardless of the grade of the primary lesion, metastatic meningioma to the lung should be considered in the differential diagnosis, when encountering a well-defined round pulmonary mass in a patient with history of intracranial meningioma.
