TAE・TACEにおける自動供血血管探索ソフトウェアの有用性

Efficacy of automated tumor-feeder detection software in transcatheter arterial embolization and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization.

本稿では，腫瘍に対する経皮的動脈塞栓術（transcatheter arterial embolization：TAE）・肝動脈化学塞栓療法（transcatheter arterial chemoembolization：TACE）施行の際に非常に強力なツールとなる自動供血血管探索ソフトウェア（automated feeder detection software：AFD）について，今後の展望も含め解説を行う。

Automated feeder detection software（AFD）is a great tool that can automatically identify and visualize the feeders. The software is used especially in transcatheter arterial embolization and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma. The detectability rate of the feeders with AFD is quite high. With using AFD, detection of the feeders become easier and faster. Therefore, the software can reduce the procedural time, the radiation exposure and the workload during procedures. In the future, it is expected that virtual embolized area prediction, and analysis using transvenous CT angiography will be possible for AFD.
